Digamber, Shwetamber and Bengali community people used to offer prayer at the temple here. Idol is ancient and pleasing. It is believed that people used to offer prayer to Shri Kshetraplaji, Bhomiyanji and Bhairavnathji after getting their wishes fulfiled. Idol of Bhagwan Parshavnath is 400 years old. 'Hugli - Chinsura' city comes under Arsha subdivision. The temple was constructed in the begining of 18th century. The famous Prashavnath Temple in the alley is famous with the name Jain Temple.
