Historical Importance:
On the occasion of 2600th Jayanti of Bhagwan Mahaveer the tirtha was designated as the development area by the Central Government. In the year 2001 His highness Governer Shri Sundersinghji Bhandari handed over the idols of 4th century to the tirth for performing prayers. The old name of the tirtha was Vardhamanpuram. 74 Idols alongwith Mulnayak Bhagwan Adinath was recovered during excavation. At present construction and development is in progress.
