This tirth is very ancient. Here was an ancient temple of the Middles ages. In those days, there were many Jain temples here. The inscriptions on the idol installed here reveal that looking to the possibility of religious impact and religious activities, Vijaysensurisvarji with his vast group of disciples, came here on the invitation of King Akbar. The idol was installed on the tenth day of the month Magh in the year 1664 of the vikram era
