This tirth was built by King Samprati. The idol of Bhagwan Shantinath formally installed and the tirth is on the fort. There are 52 idols. The temple is renovated by King Kumarpal and got the idol of Bhagwan Adishvar installed here. The final renovation was accomplished in 1970 by Acharya Labdhasurishvarji. The history of this city is also very ancient. Being the birthplace of great Acharyas and charitable Shrvakas, this sacred place has a special significance. Many Acharyas wrote here many scriptures.
