Nalanda has been believed to be the birth place of Bhagwaan Mahavir. Vardhamaan was born in a palace named 'Nandyavarth Mahal'. In the remembrance of that a new palace has been built here. Also a 101 feet high Mahavir Temple, Rishabhdev Temple, Trikal Chaobisi temple, and Shantinath Temple in Nandyavartha Mahal, all have been artistically crafted and worth see. Mahavir temple has 11 feet high, life size Bhagwaan Mahavir idol. The entire area has been developed under the guidance and inspiration of Ganani Pramukh Gyanmati Mataji
