This temple is of 13th century. On besis of romours there is one swamiji who want to take Jwalamalini and other statue on a safe place when he is moving , he saw one caw n tiger lives together at that time they decide to keep statue here only. that why this place is known as Sinhanagudi where sinha means tiger n gudi means farm. Sunday is a special day of Jwalamalini. On this day only they do special worship.
