According to history SHREE VARANG TIRTH dates back to the ancient times. It is said that earlier the tirth kshetra was once a rich and prosperous place and was reside by many people. In the southern region the temple is known as Jalmandir. As per reference Muni Shilvijay come here on a pilgrimage in the year 1711of the yikra era. At one time there were almost 60 temple on the hills here. The idol of lord Pashvanatha is believe to possess miraculous power. Thousands of jains and non jains from far of places visit the temple to offer their prayers. It is believed that if prayed with all devotion the lord fulfilled the wishes of the pilgrims.
