Historical Importance:
The supernatural idol of Bhagwan Parshvnath is 1500 years old. The idol having 1008 Serpentine hoods is known as Sahastrafani Idol. All serpetine hoods are interconneted within and hence while we drop water or milk for abhishek the milk or water comes from all the serpentine hoods and thus shower the whole idol beautifully. Many development programmes alongwith rejuvenating of the temple is in progress. There are many places of interest out of which Gol Gumbaj is the main place.
