The tirth belongs to a period earlier that the tenth century. The ancient name of this village was Toran. It seems that it was changed into the modern name during the Muslim rule. This tirth was also renovated many times. The last renovation was accomplished by Shri Unhel sanga in the year 1700 of the Vikram era. It seems as if small lamps are waved before the idol by way of worship. Sometimes nectar flows out of God’s eyes. By pilgrimaging this miraculous tirth of by worshipping this idol, the devotees fulfil theri wishes. History says that many miracles have hppened here.
