Historical Importance:
This holy village had nine overlaid(madha) and nine markets(haat) and due to which it is known as Nohta. The place is situated at the mountain on the bank of confluence of river Byaram and Goriya Sarita. The miraculous Idols at this place is of 9th - 10th century to 21st century. Ancient Idols of Bhagwan Adinath and Chandraprabh Bhagwan are there. The place once was a golden era of temples and sculptural art. In 1989 Acharya Vidhyasagrji had a short stay at the place.
