Historical Importance:
The temple constructed during the era of Chandel Dynasty is there at Jaypal mountain, the temple has got 12 feet high idol of Shantinath Bhagwan. Also idols of Arahnath and Kunthunath and sahstrakoot chaityalaya is there. Jain idols are scattered on the mountain. At present the tirth is under the cotrol of archeological department and due to which worship has been stopped here. Development of two temples is in progress.
